What a lovely little spot Littlehampton is. Last Thursday we all hit the road and headed for the Arun Yacht Club, sitting between a rather pretty golf course and the River Arun. It was nestled next to a marina with a few dozen sailboats bobbing up and down in the water.
And downstream was the sea, of course. The weather was amazing, with blazing sunshine when we arrived and a beautiful sunrise for Friday morning’s breakfast show.
For those of you who don’t know, Littlehampton is on the south coast a little west of Brighton but before Bognor Regis. It’s a gorgeous part of the world.

The UK LIVE team was out in force. Led by Puch, the team included Charlotte, Scarlett and Luke, who organised the production. My son Oliver joined in too and helped out with the merch stand.
On air we had Kezia Noble as my co-host but we also made sure Littlewood and Cox and Ellie Hodges did their shows too on Friday, proving that UK LIVE is totally mobile. We will be coming to a town near you soon.
We were also joined by Jess Caine, Anna Richardson, Lembit Öpik, Anika Sweetland and a host of really interesting local guests.
We learned all about Arundel Castle, had a conversation about Net Zero madness and how the local council was operating.
A huge thank you to Commodore Jonathan Penberthy and Angela Broughton from the yacht club for making it all possible. It was the club’s 70th anniversary and they made sure everyone was fed and watered.
Fish and chips were provided for the evening show and we were so pleased to see so many of the guests had brought their copies of Fake News and Total Control for me to sign. It was truly a privilege.
We closed up shop around 10.30pm but we were back on Friday morning with a full English breakfast and more great guests.
This is the heart and soul of UK LIVE. We want you all to get involved, meet us and play a massive part in what we do.
It’s broadcasting like you’ve never seen before. Come and join the revolution - it WILL be televised.
