Welcome to autumn. We’ve reached the second week of October, and it was cold enough to put the fire on last night. It won’t be long before the dark nights are drawing in.
Thankfully, though, we’ve got the bright lights of UK LIVE to depend on, shining a torch on all those seeking to hide in the shadows.
This is the first edition of a new weekly newsletter for all Substack subscribers, and we hope you find it useful.
Last week was very much dominated by some powerful coverage of October 7th. It was the third anniversary of that tragic day, and we were able to welcome some great guests onto my show, including Bruce Hamill, who was live in Israel, Jonny Gould and Dov Forman, whose own brother was caught up in the horrors of that day.
Will Geddes gave us a great insight into the security situation in the Middle East, and we were able to examine those terrible riots in France through the eyes of Patrick Schnecker from NewsForce.
Dr Claire Craig came on to discuss her campaign to stop the government mandating the inclusion of folic acid in our flour. I’m pleased to say that, following her appearance, her petition was signed by over 100,000 people. Onwards and upwards.
We had a few fun moments, too, recording the Thought Police with Lewis Schaffer and his son Columbus, cracking jokes with Lembit Öpik and producing another brilliant Plank of the Week with Paul Cox and Mark Littlewood.
Puch took a couple of well-deserved days off, and Charlotte stepped into the breach brilliantly on Thursday and Friday.
I made a little trip to Borough Market to find some Spanish delicacies for a paella, and in the gym, I’m nearly up to bench pressing 60kg.
Coming up this week, we hope to bring you the new UK LIVE app, which will make it possible to listen to the channel while you’re on the move. Another great innovation for all of us.

Good morning Mike, with our country now in the hands of a Vichy 1940s police force, and our very safety, hanging on a scatter order, which will eventually, put these illegal immigrants in every village and rural town in England, I would like you to ask this question.
Is it time to put politics to one side, and simply find a piece of land in England, that we, the indigenous people, the patriots, can come together and protect eachother.
Because I fear the army that has been brought into our country, will attack us, it's just a matter of time.
