The news has broken today, 23 February 2026, and it is explosive. Peter Mandelson, the Prince of Darkness himself, the man who has slithered through the corridors of power for decades, has finally been nicked. Arrested at his swanky Camden home this afternoon on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The Metropolitan Police hauled the 72 year old in for questioning after weeks of mounting pressure over his cosy little friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein. This is not some minor indiscretion. This is the sort of thing that should make every decent person in this country sit up and ask: how on earth did this man keep getting away with it for so long?
